A 60-75 minute routine practiced in our professionally heated yoga room. We use high quality infrared panels to raise the temperature to 37-38ºC. Practicing in the heat has many benefits. It is detoxifying, can help you increase your flexibility, lose weight, improve sleep, drop blood sugar levels, and enhance your cardiovascular capacity. TIPS: If you are new to hot yoga please make sure you listen to your body and stay hydrated during this class!

Developed by American yogi John Friend in 1997, Anusara seeks to use the physical practice of yoga to help students open their hearts, experience grace, and let their inner goodness shine through. Classes are specifically sequenced by the teacher and use Universal Principles of Alignment that help you understand how to align your body, heart and mind in a way that provides both integration and safe opening. These classes foster strength, good health and wellbeing.

“Vinyasa” is a Sanskrit term which means “to place in a specific or special way”. These classes offer progressive sequences that unfold with an inherent harmony and intelligence. They use a step-by-step approach that systematically and appropriately takes a student from one point and safely lands them at the next point. You will learn to cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next—one breath at a time. Vinyasa classes challenge you to explore your full potential in an uplifting and creative way. Come flow with us!

In this class we use a special yoga swing to allow students to perform postures that they may not ordinarily be able to attempt on the yoga mat. It is often also referred to as “AntiGravity” yoga and combines traditional yoga with moves inspired by pilates, dance and acrobatics. Aerial yoga is thought to be particularly beneficial for students who spend a long time sitting, or who have back pain, because it has a decompressing effect on the body. This is a fun and challenging class that will literally make you feel lighter and more free!

Rocket Yoga, also known as ‘The Rocket’, is a style of yoga developed by Larry Schultz in San Francisco during the 1980s. Rocket Yoga is rooted in the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa. It is composed of poses from the Primary and Intermediate Series of Ashtanga, as well as key postures from the 3rd and 4th series. Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and fast-paced flow of yoga. This is a challenging physical practice that is designed to build balance, heat, flexibility and concentration with a strong emphasis on breath. Ideal for those that want to take their practice to the next level and beyond!

Ashtanga is a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This method of yoga involves synchronising the breath with a progressive series of postures—this process produces intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. Start your week on a high by letting us guide you safely through this invigorating sequence!

Strala is a movement system that helps people drop stress from their bodies and minds, unlocking each person’s limitless potential to be radiantly healthy, fit and happy.  The Yoga postures, rather than being  “held” statically for long periods, instead flow together in a soft relaxed & controlled style and are carried along by the natural flow of breath similar to a Thai Chi practice. It’s like watching yoga “underwater”!  This flowing movement, this breath and body-mind connection is designed to stimulate the body’s relaxation response, stimulating feelings of immense well-being and joy.

In this asana practice we use Iyengar Ropes & Chairs as well as other props to target and support different parts of the body as they open. Students become more aware of their own physical asymmetries and therefore learn correct and safe alignment more intuitively. Performing asanas with the assistance of these yoga tools, not only helps students acquire strength and flexibility, it also allows them to attempt poses that may be more difficult to practice due to age, stiffness, injury or fear.

A unique opportunity to cultivate awareness of your body and gain a greater understanding of your breath. This is a therapeutic class that serves as a gentle introduction to the most basic yoga postures. You will leave class feeling longer, looser, as well as more rejuvenated and relaxed.

These classes are a dynamic mix of many yoga traditions, surprising us with an exciting variety of styles. Whether it is holding postures for extended periods or drawing from Yin, Anusara, Vinyasa or Iyengar influences you will always be challenged and uplifted by these inspired sequences!

Yin is a quiet practice suitable for students of all levels of experience. Many of the poses are seated, supine or prone and are held with muscles relaxed for several minutes. The Yin parts of our body are the parts that lie closest to our core, specifically the bones and connective tissue. There is a focus on the breath, being present in the moment, relieving tension and letting go.

This is an opportunity for students of all levels to develop a deeper understanding of the yoga postures and their alignment. This class typically includes light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. We practice fewer poses, and use props for support so we can completely relax and rest. Perfect for newcomers and those wishing to truly disconnect.

Prenatal yoga poses and sequences are modified to accommodate a growing belly, ease discomforts of pregnancy and help prepare for labor by strengthening your body. The classes create strength, focus, flexibility and awareness through a gentle practice designed especially for mothers-to-be.

Pilates is a series of nonimpact exercises designed by Joseph Pilates. If practiced with consistency it improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.

This is a body sculpting class that helps you tone and lengthen your muscles. Body toning gives you the flexibility benefits of a yoga class as well as the body sculpting and toning benefits of a Pilates and Body Training session. A fun creative fusion class to keep you fit and happy!
